Counselling is a journey and for some taking the first steps can be difficult. There are so many different types of counselling available, which can sometimes make finding a counsellor a daunting process. Your decision on who to begin this journey with may be based on multiple factors, you can find out more about me and the way I work on my About me page.
If you are looking for a warm, genuine and professional counsellor then I am here to help. I work from a safe and comfortable therapy room at the Latton Bush Centre in Harlow. If you would like to book an initial information session you can phone, text or use the contact form on my contact me page, please leave your details as well as letting me know your availability. If you get my answerphone, I’m probably working with a client so don’t be put off, please leave a message and I’II get back to you as soon as I’m able to.
I also offer Animal Assisted Therapy with my Therapy dog Fudge. Dogs can offer not only companionship, but other endless therapeutic benefits and this can either work alongside counselling or independent of it. It is a service available for children of 5 years and over as well as adults of all abilities. Evidence shows that children and adults, with emotional, social, learning or behavioural difficulties can benefit from the presence and interaction with dogs. Dogs have the ability to listen attentively without judgement or disclsoure, whilst at the same time demonstrating their love and loyalty. If you would like to know more about this service please see my Animal Assisted Therapy page or contact me for more information.
